About the Crow River Quill and Ink Society

Helping Writers Write

Founded in 2017, the Crow River Quill and Ink Society started out as a group of writers who wanted more than writing alone in a dark room under a single light. After a local National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo.org) event, writers continued to meet together to help each other in their writing journeys.

Since the group’s meager beginnings, it has continued to grow. The group had been known by various names until 2019 when the name Crow River Quill and Ink Society was adopted. Hutchinson Public Library (located in Hutchinson, Minnesota) became the designated meeting place for the group. Writing events are now held there throughout the year, with additional writing events being hosted online by the group.

All skill levels of writers and styles of writing are welcome. Join us for our monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of the month. We hope to see you there!
